Think Foundation
Think Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, registered under Section 25 (1) of the Companies Act, 1956 and incorporated on 23rd January 2006. The Registered Office of Think Foundation is situated in the state of Maharashtra within the jurisdiction of the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra.
The main objects of Think Foundation (in brief) are :
1. To carry on activities in the field of education.
2. To carry on activities in the field of medical aid.
3. To develop and popularize sports.
4. To carry out socio-cultural activities for enhancement of living standards.
The objects incidental and ancillary to the main objects are listed in the Memorandum and Articles of Association which can be obtained from the office of Think Foundation.
The activities of Think Foundation shall extend to the whole of India.
VINAY SHETTY

Vinay Shetty conducted his first blood donation drive when he was 20 years of age. Since then he has organized blood donation drives in various colleges, offices, public places, residential areas and religious institutions. Vinay has been responsible for running a structured program for testing for Thalassaemia Minor in colleges in Mumbai University, which has now spread to various corporate offices and residential areas. Vinay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E. Civil) from the Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute (VJTI), Mumbai University and a Master’s Degree in Management Studies (M.M.S.) with specialization in Marketing Management from the S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai Vinay brings to Think Foundation a deep understanding of the subjects of Thalassaemia and Blood Donation and a strategy for finding long-term solutions. Vinay has been appointed as Permanent Member of the Voluntary Blood Donation Committee of the State Blood Transfusion Council.
Dr. Rashid Merchant

Dr. Rashid Merchant is one of the leading pediatricians in India. He is a Consulting Pediatrician at Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai, India, and Former Dean & Professor of Pediatrics at the B.J. Wadia Children’s Hospital, Mumbai, India. Dr. Merchant has worked extensively in the field of HIV, and has been Former Director of Pediatrics/Perinatal HIV Program. In the past 15 years Dr. Merchant has made focused efforts towards providing quality care to patients living with Thalassaemia Major in Mumbai.
Dr. Mamta Manglani

Dr. Mamta Manglani is one of the leading Haematologists in India. She is Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatrics, at the Lokmanya Tilak Memorial Medical College and General Hospital, Sion, Mumbai. The Division of Pediatric Hemato-Oncology has been helmed by her for more than 20 years resulting in the state-of-the-art Pediatric Centre of Excellence at LTMG Hospital. She has worked with a large number of thalassaemia patients; and has been at the forefront of providing guidance and training to medical and para-medical staff involved in the treatment of thalassaemia.
